Welcome to puku ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the puku iOS application ("App").
Account information: Your email address when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and optional email provided by Apple.
Wardrobe photos: Photos of clothing items and optional body photos you upload. Stored securely in your private account.
Wardrobe metadata: AI-generated labels (type, color, style, occasion) and outfit combinations you save.
Usage data: Feature interactions and frequency, used only to improve the service.
Device information: Device type and OS version for troubleshooting.
Biometric data: Face ID is handled entirely by iOS via Apple's Secure Enclave. We never store, access, or transmit your biometric data.
Anthropic (Claude AI): Your wardrobe photos and style prompts are sent to Anthropic's API to generate outfit suggestions and categorize clothing. Anthropic's Privacy Policy applies to data processed by Claude.
Supabase: Secure authentication and data storage. Your data is stored in encrypted databases with row-level security — only your account can access your data.
Apple Sign In: Apple's privacy policy governs that authentication process. We only receive what Apple explicitly provides.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Row-level security policies ensure only your account can access your wardrobe and photos.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

puku is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the puku iOS application. By downloading or using puku, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use puku. By using the App you confirm this. Users under 18 confirm they have parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use at support@puku.app.
You own the photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the App's features. We do not claim ownership of your photos.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
Outfit suggestions are produced by AI for personal style guidance only. They do not constitute professional fashion advice. Use your own judgment — we are not responsible for wardrobe decisions based on AI recommendations.
The puku name, logo, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI suggestions will always be accurate or suitable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, puku and its owners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the greater of amounts paid to us in the prior 12 months or $100 USD.
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations. You may delete your account at any time via App settings.
We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration if unresolved.
